“Cyberthreats pose one of the greatest national security dangers the United States faces, ranging from vulnerabilities in our critical infrastructure to identity theft from credit card information,” spokesman Josh Earnest said at a White House briefing dominated by talk of U.S. plans to confront Islamic State and stabilize the Middle East.
